Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

• 18 to 34 years as of July 1, 2025

• Age relaxations apply to reserved categories as per government rules.

Educational Qualifications

• Scientific Officers: M.Sc. in relevant disciplines

• Scientific Assistants: B.Sc. / M.Sc.

• Laboratory Technicians: B.Sc. or equivalent

• Laboratory Attendants: SSC / Intermediate

The selection process includes:

• Written Examination – 30 marks

• Academic Weightage + Experience – 70 marks

• Total – 100 marks

Written Exam Cut-Off Marks

• OC/EWS: 40%

• BC: 35%

• SC/ST/Orthopedically Disabled: 30%

Candidates are shortlisted for the written exam in a 1:5 ratio based on merit.

Scientific Officers – 70 Marks

• Academic scores: up to 55 marks

• Experience: up to 5 marks

• Intermediate: 10 marks

• Graduation: 15 marks

• Post Graduation: 25 marks

Reservation Policies

• Reservation for SC, ST, BC, EWS, and Women candidates applies as per state rules.

• Orthopedically handicapped candidates have specific conditions.

Verification, Documents & Local Status

Candidates must produce:

• Original certificates

• Community certificates

• Study certificates (Class I–VII) for local status

Failure to provide valid documents results in disqualification.

Biometric Authentication
