Applicants pay a non-refundable fee ₹100 and a refundable “token” deposit of ₹10,000 at submission. The deposit is held by the government until allotment/hand-over, after which it is refunded (or adjusted in the first instalment of construction).
The timeline for Hyderabad CURE Phase 1 (2026) is as follows:

Payment Mechanism:
The Housing Corporation disburses ₹50,000 at basement completion, ₹1,50,000 on walls, ₹1,50,000 on roof, ₹1,50,000 on flooring, and ₹50,000 on electrification/plumbing (four-stage instalments of ₹1.25 lakh each after the first).
