Telangana GPO Jobs 2025 Revenue Deopartment Approved 10954 Vacanies Grama Panchayat Officer (GPO) Government of Telangana Planning to fill all vacanies, green signal to fill 10,954 GPO Jobs through direct recruitment. Earlier Govt, planning to fill with VRA, VROs but after recieving huge negative impact, decided to fill by Direct Recruitment only. This Grama Panchayat Officers Across all districts. Initially discussions with VRA ( Village revenue Assistant) and VRO ( Village revenue Officer) categories. due to legal challenges about services loss, age factors. Government is now planning a fresh recruitment process.

Filling with VRA/VRO Issues / Latest Update:

Government of Telangana released notification to appointment of grama Palana Officers, duly taking options from Ex VROs/VRAs.to eligible this candidate must required Graduate from recognized university. The intrested VRO/VRAs may apply in the google form.

Duties of Grama Palana Officer
The duties and responsibilities of a Grama Palana Officer shall include but are
not limited to the following:
1) Maintenance of village accounts.
2) Conducting inquiries for the issuance of various certificates.
3) Conducting inquiries regarding encroachments on government lands, lakes, and
water bodies, and ensuring their protection.
4) Investigating land-related disputes and assisting surveyors in land surveys.
5) Performing duties related to disaster management and providing
essential/emergency services.
6) Identifying beneficiaries for welfare schemes and development projects.
7) Assisting in election-related duties and extending support to protocol officers.
8) Coordinating with inter-departmental officials at the village, cluster, and Mandal
levels.
9) Undertaking any other duties entrusted by the Government, Chief
Commissioner of Land Administration, District Collector, Revenue Divisional
Officer (RDO) or Tahsildar.
